Facilities

The three-story Kashmir Bhavan, with a total built-up area of 15,000 square feet, is located in the prime area of Jayanagar, making it an exceptional and unparalleled community monument.  The Bhavan features a dining hall and yoga hall, an air-conditioned auditorium named after the late Shri H.N. Ananthkumar, a havan shala, a library, air-conditioned rooms for accommodation, and a meditation and yoga center dedicated to Bhagwan Gopinathji and Swami Lakshmanjoo Iswar Ashram Trust for devotees to perform pooja. The facility is equipped with a robust generator set and elevator services.  It also offers lush green lawns with ample seating arrangements.   A KP Martyrs’ Memorial, the first of its kind in the world, honours the late Shri Tikka Lal Taploo with a bust and the names of martyrs engraved on a granite stone wall. In addition, the Bhavan houses Sree Neelakanteshwara Mandir (constructed in October 2018) and the Mata Jwala Devi Mandir (constructed in October 2024), both attracting daily devotees for prayers.

The recently inducted –  ‘Ramji Ka Rath –cum- Ambulance,’ the first of its kind in the country was commissioned entirely through donations from community members and pressed into service in October 2025.

  • Cultural and Spiritual Enrichment- Organizing traditional dance, music and religious events to preserve and transmit Kashmir’s cultural and spiritual heritage to younger generations.
  • Social and Emotional- Extending care and companionship to the elderly, ensuring their social, emotional and practical needs are met with dignity.

Started with a corpus of Rs 21 lakh on Aug 15, 2016.  This fund is growing and the interest earned is being utilized for the welfare of the needy and deserving displaced KPs  across the country.  This fund is also augmented by more than 116 community members called ‘Helping Hands’ by making monthly contributions ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000.  Anyone can donate.  All donations to the Trust are exempted under IT Act U/S 80G. Bangalore/80G/2020-21/A/10004
